Vinyasa Yoga
Meaning “Flow” in Sanskrit vinyasa class is traditionally a faster paced practice easily recognisable by the presence of vinyasa sequence on vinyasa sun salutation (Downward Facing Dog – Plank – Staff – Upward Facing Dog). The asanas are held for 3-5 breaths and the transition in between is even faster whilst still controlled and governed by the breath.
The focus is on stamina and strength and this class is better suited for a morning practice, people with certain level of experience and expectations from their practice or anyone who is looking for a more energised sensation from their yoga session.
