Yoga & Pilates Classes – For Charity Fundraising Events
Could your workplace, church, school or social club benefit from a FREE Yoga or Pilates class?
“In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference…in 20 you’ll see the difference…in 30 you’ll have a whole new body.” Joseph Pilates, Return to Life Through Contrology.
The founder of Contrology (now known as Pilates) Joseph Pilates had suffered from a number of childhood diseases and had been predicted a short life expectancy. Through experimenting with various methods and ideas from yoga, martial arts, gymnastics, circuits and weight training he rebuilt his body back to strength and had lived a happy and healthy life, leaving us a fantastic legacy!
Pilates is now practised all around the world in a variety of forms and its numerous benefits such as increasing core strength, reducing back pain, improving quality of sleep and creating perfect posture are clinically recognised. I am a Level 3 Pilates instructor with qualifications in classical mat based Pilates, small equipment Pilates, sports specific Pilates, Pilates for orthopaedic conditions and pre and postnatal Pilates, with experience in group and private practice.
Yoga provides a much needed balance, physically and mentally to our everyday living. I practice and teach various forms of yoga, including but not limited too: Hatha, Vinyasa, Sivananda, Hot Yoga, Chakra Yoga, etc. I am a 200 hour Yoga Alliance recognised teacher.
I would love to share my experience and expertise and am interested in donating a Pilates class combining exercise and educational benefits, postural assessments and everyday living and sports specific recommendations.
I love sharing my passion for Yoga and Pilates and enjoy sharing my experience with others. If you (or someone you know) is doing a charity fundraising event, I’d be happy to run a FREE Yoga or Pilates class with proceeds going to charitable causes.
