This practice is ideal for someone who is looking to greater embrace spiritual elements of yoga along with a slow paced but challenging asana experience.

The various sequences are based around balancing and awakening the 7 Chakras or energy centres of the body. Starting from the root (Muladhara) chakra at the base of the spine and working all the way up to the crown of the head (Sahasrara) chakra.

With plenty of options to vary individual practices the Chakra yoga sequence typically includes hip openers, forward and back bends, inversions and balancing poses, along with powerful breathing (pranayama) and mantras (short sentences that help us embrace the essence of this balancing practice)
